1948 Buick Super Eight Series 50 Sedanette RAR RAT ROD HOT ROD

1948 Buick Super Eight Series 50 Sedanette   Up for sale is a very nice 1948 Buick Super Eight Series 50 in the most desirable coupe body style commonly known as a Sedanette. Buick is equipped with a 248ci straight engine (4.1l) and a manual “three on the tree” transmission. Overall Buick is in decent shape for being over 60 year old car! In fact it’s fully drivable. Drivetrain is complete and original, engine starts up right, runs very nice, the floor starter works great, clutch, transmission works and even the brakes are still working! I drove this car for a while and it’s really a lot of fun. Still as you can see this car needs total restoration and deserves it as it has a lot of potential. Despite fender skirts nothing is missing, car is very complete and was never restored, torn apart or wrecked before. All trim parts, gauges, emblems, hubcaps, everything is there! It has some rust, mostly on sill panels and floors, but it’s very common to those cars and still not that bad. Other than that everything else is surface rust. Dashboard components are very nice, gauges are beautiful and fully working, horn works too and all glass is intact! I’m pretty sure that this Buick is still wearing residues of it’s original paint, which is Nickel Grey (code 23K). Also the interior was never restored and the factory grey striped broadcloth is still visible.   I’m selling this beautiful Buick just because I don’t have time to restore it.   Perfect project for hot rot/rat rod or 100% factory correct restoration.   Buick was imported from USA in 2012 and now is located in Poland near Krakow.
