1954 Buick Roadmaster1954 Buick Roadmaster Convertible, top-of-the-line Buick series, very rare and highly collectible. One of only 3305 produced, it’s even rarer than Cadillac Series 62 Convertible from same year which was produced 6310 copies.   Buick is in overall good condition for it’s age, needs total restoration but it’s a great project with lots of potential. Body is straight and solid, only the front floors need attention. There are also few rust spots at the bottom of rear quarters, and front fenders, but nothing really major. Frame is super solid, as are doors, hood and trunk lid. Windshield is intact though all side windows are shot but as they are completely flat they are easy and cheap to reproduce. All chrome and stainless trim is present (including the ventiports and factory optional 40 spoke wire wheel covers that are not shown on pictures). Only “Roadmaster” scripts for rear fenders are missing. Both bumpers are straight and not rusted, grill is complete, all teethes are straight. Factory paint code is 13 which is Willow Green. Buick comes with factory shop manual, owner’s manual and few other brochures. There are also three brand new tail lights. The interior is missing rear bench. All four side panels are present, including all trim parts. The front seats are also complete, just need new upholstery. The whole dashboard is in amazing condition considering it’s age, very straight, very complete, all knobs, levers, ashtrays, lighters and clock are still there! Gauges are also very nice as it the factory Selectronic radio. Steering wheel is cracked only in one place (easy fix) which is rather unusual for a car from that era. Interior trim code 76 which stands for two tone green. All fabrics and vinyl materials with correct pattern are still available (I have samples).  Under the hood there is a legendary Nailhead V8 engine, 322ci (5.3l) producing 195HP. The automatic transmission is a super smooth Twin Turbine Dynaflow. The whole drivetrain is in working condition, engine starts up right and runs very nice, the transmission was recently rebuild and works perfectly, the car runs and drives!  Buick is equipped with power steering, power brakes, power windows, power front seats, optional Selectronic radio with power antenna, power convertible top (top mechanism is complete and there is a brand new pump), windshield washers and vacuum operated wipers, vent shades, electric clock and optional 40 spoke wire wheel covers.  VIN number 7A1093409 7 = Series 70 Roadmaster A = 19541 = assembly plant Flint, MI 093409 = serial number   Body Tag Plate1954 MOD 54-76C STYLE No. 54-4767X BODY No. G 2169 TRIM No. 76 S B PAINT No. 13 ACC.
