   My old Caldwell held the lap record for about 20 consecutive years, with 4 different drivers, at Mosport. (Canada) .
          The car just loves those rolling high speed corners.
It beat the same Lynx/Caracals then,  that are still WINNING today.

The Caldwell D13  1200cc  with dual shock rear suspension has been approved by Monoposto for inclusion in 1st Generation Vintage Vee Racing
from autosport.com   In 1970 the Autodynamics Caldwell D-13 was introduced, and it has been WINNING races pretty much ever since in the US. The D-13 has two 4 diameter main chassis tubes, so technologically and historically it shares a lot of genes with an Auto-Union A through C type Grand Prix car!
The D13"s are considered one of the best vintage designs, are well built,  and quite fast, and VERY competitive.

We have just acquired this Vee.  The previous owner went to Formula Ford. The car has been in storage at the race shop about 5 or 6 years, and will need seat,belts and up to date fire safety,   master cylinders refurbished, and other normal pre-race prep, including battery and appropriate tires.
 
  The #74 car ( red wine color) has a "new" race motor from SR Racing, and the build sheet is included.   It needs throttle cable , headers, and mounting of external oil filter. Car has an ATL Fuel cell.   I have not removed it to check it"s condition, but I expect it to be useable.  Paint on this car is good, and very presentable for vintage racing. Chassis and components have very clean appearance,  and may have been restored not long ago.
