1977 Porsche 911S Targa

I"m selling my nice and clean numbers matching 77 Porsche 911S Targa with extensive maintenance records and absolutely no rust. The car has been with the original owner until late 2013, until being sold to Alabama to the second owner whom refreshed the paint (Z2 Silver Metallic), then I got the chance to buy it in 2015. The engine has been rebuilt a few months ago (the cylinder heads have been resurfaced, the camshafts have been regrounded, the seals have been replaced and so were the poiston rings) along with the brakes and the targa top. Some new parts underneath the car has been replaced such as ball joints, sway bar bushings, new cv joints. The car is a low mileage but I wanted to make sure that I bring the engine back to the former glory since I"ve been planning to keep the car for at least a decade but, however, plans have changed and I took the painful decision to sell it.
The outside features of the car are centered around the forged allow wheels (15 inches Fuchs) wearing the Pirelli P4"s, Euro specifications H4 headlamps and a set of a rectangular fog lamps under the bumper. Inside there"s a beautifully preserved red leather still looking nice & feeling soft, matching color dashboard, black steering wheel wrapped in leather, a blaupunkt radio & nice Targa black floor mats.
The car is low mileage, it only has 36,000 miles, but I wanted to bring the engine back to the former glory and make sure that I have a mint condition car with an excellent, like new, performing engine; I wanted to make sure that all the 165 horsepower are up and running. The bill for the engine rebuild with the other works done I mentioned a few rows above are totaling around $18,000.
I"m selling the car with the full maintenance records, a clear title under my name, the Certificate of Authenticity by Porsche.
- The successful winning bidder must contact me within 24 hours after the auction has ended to verify purchase and make arrangements to complete the transaction;

- The car is sold As Is, with no warranties expressed or implied;
- Non-paying bidders, unqualified bidding, bid shielding, auction interference or any type of harassment, will be dealt with according to Rules, local law, and may include, but are not limited to, legal action and applicable fees, lose of deposit or any other necessary costs;
