1976 Triumph Spitfire 1500
Triumph is in great shape, was fully restored, the whole project was finished in 2012. It was a frame up, bolts and nuts restoration. Body work was done, new paint, new interior. Engine was painted using special high thermal paint, black in color. Valve cover, timing cover and oil pan were chrome plated. Frame was sand blasted, powder painted and waxed.  Engine is in very good condition, runs great and strong, still has original carburetors, just the single air filter box was changed with dual filters. Exhaust manifold is stainless steel. Engine Manual transmission is 4 speed without overdrive, also in very good condition. Suspension was also overhauled, checked and what was necessary was replaced, new suspension bushings were fitted. All suspension and steering is tight, no play on ball joints or tie rod ends. Suspension parts were zinc plated and painted. Brakes are strong, new pads at the front. Steering wheel is also new, real wood. Dashboard is nice and has new cherry veneer. Upholstery is also new (seats, door panels, console), new carpet.
Very fun car to drive, real head turner, you don"t see many of these on the streets.
Triumph doesn"t have hardtop. Soft top should be repaired. It"s complete, fully working, but there is a hole in one rear triangle vinyl window.
Car is registered in Poland and is located near Krakow in Poland. Can be seen and test driven by appointment.
